Our Programmes

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO 2019/2020 PROGRAMMES

The Institute for Continuing and Innovative Education (ICIE), Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, is inviting applications into the following programs/Institutes:

One Year IJMB Programme:

Minimum of 5 O’ level credits in English and Mathematics, plus any three Chemistry, Physics Biology, Geography, Economics, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

Note: Candidates with deficiency in English are also accepted into the program, however, they would register for Basic English to remedy for their deficiency at the end of the program.

One Year Pre-Degree Programme:

Minimum of 5 O’ level credits in English and Mathematics, plus any Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

Note: Students would be absorbed into any program of their choice run by KUST Wudil at the end of the programme, after attaining the JAMB national cut off mark. Equally, the students would not be subjected to post UTME Screening.

National Diploma in Hospitality Management:

Minimum of 4 O’ level credits in English, Mathematics Biology/Agricultural Science and any of Chemistry, Economics, Geography, and Physics in not more than two sittings.

Professional Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism:

Minimum of 3 O’ level credits in not more than two sittings in Biology/Agriculture, English plus any of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Food and Nutrition, and Geography.

National Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics:

Minimum of 4 O’ level Credits in not more than two sittings. To include: Chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition, Agriculture, Physics, Economics, and Geography, with at least a pass in English and Mathematics.

Note: Graduates of this programme could secure admission into BSc Biochemistry and B. Tech. Food Science and Technology of KUST Wudil

National Diploma in Leisure and Tourism:

Minimum of 4 O’ level credits in English, Mathematics, Geography and any of Chemistry, Economics and Physics in not more than two sittings.

Professional Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism:

Minimum of 2 O’ level credits in not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Coaching and Officiating

Requirements
Minimum of 5 credit including English and Mathematics in not more than two sitting

Diploma in Sports Management

Requirements
Minimum of 5 credit including English and Mathematics in not more than two sitting.
